Nestled on the green heights of Adma, just 10 minutes from the highway, the Sts. Joachim and Anne Rest Home offers a peaceful and rejuvenating environment for our elderly residents. Surrounded by majestic oak trees and serenaded by melodious birdsong, this residence is a true haven of serenity where the pure mountain air blends with a gentle sea breeze, creating an exceptionally pleasant climate.
Overlooking the stunning Bay of Jounieh, the rest home benefits from a breathtaking panorama that invites contemplation and tranquility.
Under the watchful presence of the Sainte-Sophie Chapel and Saint Joseph Church, residents enjoy an atmosphere imbued with spirituality and comfort.
Ideally located, the home is close to several places of worship, hermitages, and tourist sites, allowing residents to maintain a living connection with their faith and heritage. Additionally, its proximity to hospitals, laboratories, and shopping centers ensures quick access to essential services, guaranteeing both comfort and safety.
At Sts. Joachim and Anne Rest Home, every resident is welcomed with respect and care in a setting where nature, spirituality, and well-being come together to provide a peaceful and enriching retreat.
The Sts. Joachim and Anne Rest Home has entrusted its management to Mr. Joseph Chkair, whose dedication and expertise ensure the well-being of our residents. With care and professionalism, he oversees and supports every aspect of life within the facility.
The health of our residents is a top priority. Our facility has its own pharmacy, supervised by our pharmacist, who ensures the safe and precise management of all treatments.
In addition, our geriatrician provides weekly check-ups and remains available for any medical emergencies.
A physiotherapist is also available on-site, offering regular sessions to maintain mobility for all residents. Additional sessions can be arranged upon request.
Our facility benefits from a qualified and experienced staff, including registered nurses and caregivers who work closely together to provide high-quality medical care.
Complementing this, our entire team—including kitchen, laundry, reception, and admissions staff—ensures that every resident receives attentive service tailored to their needs.
A qualified team also manages administrative and financial matters, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the home.
The Volunteer Committee
made up of annual members of the Sts. Joachim and Anne Rest Home, holds monthly meetings with management to ensure optimal governance.
The committee plays an essential role in the life of the home and actively contributes to the vibrancy of our community, enriching the residents’ experience through their commitment and generosity.
All these activities, and many more, help stimulate the senses, maintain social connections, and bring joy and companionship to daily life—always adapted to the interests and abilities of our residents.
Because every day is a new opportunity to share, celebrate, connect, have fun, and simply enjoy life.
The social life of our residents is also a priority for us. That is why we work to ensure a supportive social network, especially for those who may not have one.
We encourage regular interaction between residents by organizing engaging activities led by an animator.
We also maintain and strengthen connections with families, neighbors, and friends through phone calls, visits, and outings.
In addition, we promote interaction with the neighborhood and wider community by organizing local visits, encouraging participation in community events, involving volunteers, and fostering engagement with nearby groups and organizations.
